Hagood Brotherhood ~ Directed by Ronnie Rutherford
A. This Ministry focuses on educating our men on what missions are currently going on in
the world as well as focuses on local mission opportunities by meeting tangible needs.
B. The Brotherhood ministry contributes to their own treasury as to fund mission work
that the group deems necessary. Also, the Brotherhood is a joined effort with other
Southern Baptist churches in the Barnwell-Bamberg area. This is an effort to "combine"
forces of men, finances, and means to meet needs through missions in our Association
Hagood WMU (Woman's Missionary Union) ~ Directed Jointly
A. This women's group meets weekly to be educated as to what missions are happening
around the world and at home. They also look for ways to reach people in need.
B. The WMU also join with other Southern Baptist churches annually to learn and share
of ideas that will help meet needs in our area.

Barnwell-Bamberg Baptist Association
Benevolence (designed to meet needs deemed necessary by a committee).
Church-wide Mission Trip
This was begun in June, 2004. About 70 people went to Cleveland, TN and worked on
interior home repair, roofing, landscaping, painting, and other miscellaneous jobs.
Opportunities to witness door to door, give out bibles and literature were a part of the
effort. 2005 Mission takes us back to Cleveland.
